Our Goal

Founded in January 2022, the Political Economy Society (PES) Maastricht brings together students interested in the relationship between politics, markets, and economic decision-making.

Through academic events, research, professional opportunities, and collaborations with experts and organisations, PES creates a space to explore how political and economic forces shape the world around us.

Executive Board

The Executive Board is the highest governing body of the Political Economy Society, responsible for setting its direction, overseeing key decisions and initiatives, and driving the Society’s continued development and growth.

Governing Board

The Governing Board consists of seven Committee Heads, each leading one of the Political Economy Society’s committees: Marketing, Events, Podcast, External Relations, Empirica, Minos.

Each Head is responsible for leading their respective team, coordinating its activities, and contributing to the Society’s wider development and initiatives.
